The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was established in 2013 and is a national approach to accessing support for people living with disabilities, Including psychosocial disability. The NDIS is a Government Insurance scheme by NDIA, and Independent Commonwealth Body. The NDIS provides funding for people living with disabilities, mental health conditions .You will need to Contact NDIA on 1800 800 110 or your Local area Coordinator (LAC )to register for the NDIS .The NDIA will sent you an access request form to complete with your GP and or a Mental Health Professional..
