What is Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)?

MTA is medium term accommodation that is funded for up to 90 days as a one-off support, when there is evidence that you have somewhere to move into after that time. We can support you if you have MTA funding in your NDIS plan.

If you experience a breakdown and can’t live in your current home, ultimately medium term accommodation would serve you greatly. Not having a home to go to can create a situation that is overwhelming and stressful. However, we want to provide you with the support in overcoming this situation. During this time that you are experiencing a lack of housing your NDIS plan may provide the funding to support a medium term accommodation.

Waiting to move into and SDA (specialist disability accommodation) may lead to a period where you are currently without housing. However, our support specialists can assist you if MTA funding is in your NDIS plan.
