What does assistance with daily living mean?
Individuals often have debilitating health concerns that don’t allow them to go about their daily lives as normal and require assistance. Individuals may also suffer from less chronic illnesses and still need supervision throughout their day. We can create a plan that works for you and your needs. However, in the case that you require direct assistance, then we can help with a variety of essential tasks.
Personal Hygiene is an important component of our lives, and we want to make sure individuals receive the assistance they need to continue to live comfortably with respect and dignity. Areas we cover include bathing or showering, oral hygiene (brushing teeth and flossing), toileting, and dressing.
Our team knows that keeping your home clean can be a daunting task when there are health issues and concerns that are a priority. We can help with chores such as making the bed, tidying up, doing laundry or ironing, vacuuming, and dusting, grocery shopping and meal design.
We want to make sure that individuals remain on top of their daily tasks such as medication. We’ll assist with reminding and creating a schedule that suits your needs. You’ll be able to find daily medication as a manageable living task. You can rest assured knowing an individual from our team will be there to monitor you in case of any side effects or changes in health during a medication change.
